Reported Crop Circles for the State of Illinois -

Lemont / Argonne, DuPage County (Fall 1991)

Ten or eleven circles of various sizes (largest 100' in diameter; most were 84' in diameter) were found along river islands in marsh grass located very close to the nuclear facility there. Soil samples tested at a national radiation lab in Tennessee showed elevated levels of radioactivity as compared to control samples from outside the circles. Reportedly, the plants showed signs of serious degradation of their DNA.
